Alison Steadman Out of Character

The critically acclaimed actress has barely been off our stages and screens since her debut as the overbearing Beverley in Abigail’s Party and came to a whole new audience, as the nerve-stricken Mrs Bennet in the BBC’s Pride and Prejudice and Pamelaaaa in Gavin and Stacey.
