Susan Fletcher and Samuel Burr Secrets and Puzzles
We bring together a highly-acclaimed author with a debut, both of whom explore the impact of secrets, puzzles and older female protagonists in their novels. Stratford resident, Susan Fletcher is the author of several critically-acclaimed novels including Eve Green which won the Whitbread first novel award and the Betty Trask Prize. Her latest, a gentle whodunnit, is called The Night in Question. Samuel Burr has developed and produced popular-factual shows including the BAFTA-nominated Secret Life of 4-Year-Olds. A documentary he shot inside a retirement village inspired his debut novel, The Fellowship of Puzzlemakers. Samuel’s writing was shortlisted for Penguin’s WriteNow scheme.
