Tamara Harvey and Alice Farnham Smashing the Glass Ceiling
Whilst more and more women join the boards of FTSE companies, and have parity with men as actors and performers, they are still very much the minority in senior positions in cultural life. We meet two women - a conductor and the new co-director at the RSC - as they talk about the challenges they have faced to get where they are, and the unique qualities they bring to their roles. Tamara became co-Artistic Director at the RSC with Daniel Evans in June last year. She was previously the Artistic Director of Theatr Clwyd. Alice is listed in Classic FM's Today’s Ten Best Women Conductors and in the BBC Woman’s Hour Music Power List. Alice is the author of In Good Hands.
