We're bringing together two exciting voices that confirm the huge regard held by Irish writers. Mary Costello’s short story collection, The China Factory, was nominated for the Guardian First Book Award and shortlisted for an Irish Book Award and her first novel, Academy Street, was named overall Irish Book of the Year and was serialised on BBC Radio 4’s Book at Bedtime. Elaine Garvey has also published short stories and her first novel. The Wardrobe Department, is set between the bustling streets of Soho and the sweet grass of Leitrim and Donegal.
